CDM, CFPPs are experts at managing dietary operations. Earning the CDM, CFPP credential required meeting education and work experience requirements to take and pass the CDM, CFPP Credentialing Exam. Meeting the recertification requirements demonstrates commitment to continuing competence. In this video, you will learn about the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) policy for credential holders who were selected for CE Audit and were granted an extension to meet the CBDM recertification and Continuing Education (CE) Audit requirements.

Learning Objectives:

• Explain the types of eligible CE activities, required documentation, and number of CE hours required to meet CDM, CFPP recertification and CE Audit requirements in accordance with CBDM policy.
• Describe the actions required to successfully pass the CE Audit when granted an extension during the CE Audit process.
• Explain how to report CE programs and upload electronically the required documentation via the My Certification page of your ANFP record during the CE Audit extension.
