The ability to build and empower a team is essential to the success of a leader. This course looks closely at building relationships with your team and its impact on team dynamics. Understand the steps needed for team training and know when and how to use your team to solve problems. Through this course, you will be asked to think through your organization's culture, your leadership style, and your team’s relationships to better empower them to meet the team’s goals!
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the successful learner will be able to:
- Discover steps to build a strong team dynamic
- Understand the importance of training and onboarding to create and retain a successful team
- Identify when and how to use team problem solving skills
It is suggested to complete the online course Transition from Team Member to Leader first, a Level I competency. This course discusses leadership styles more in-depth and is a Level III competency. This is not a requirement.

This course is one of the five courses of the Leadership Online Course Series.
