The concept of “real food first” is one that examines the use of real food as a supplement for a client who may be losing weight. So, what is the role of fortified foods or nutrition supplements in nutrition care? This course examines the common terms used for this discussion and how these foods can be used in patient care in the healthcare setting.

Learning Objectives
