Lindsey Bionca
Session: Not Everyone Can be a Five! Supervising Those Who Are Not Top PerformersBio: Bionca Lindsey’s mission is to inspire others to reach beyond the person they see in the mirror, by identifying their dreams, getting to know themselves and believing in tomorrow. She brings HOPE! (Helping Others Prosper Everyday). She served 30 years in the United States Air Force and retired in the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Her last position was, Chief of the Medical Enlisted Force for Air Combat Command.
In this role she served as the personal advisor to the Air Combat Command Surgeon General. She provided guidance on matters concerning the welfare, training, utilization and force development of the command’s 4,400 medical enlisted personnel in 17 different medical specialties with a $522 million annual budget at 14 military medical facilities around the U.S. Bionca also held the highest enlisted dietary position in the United States Air Force, the Dietary Therapy Career Field Manager. She was the enlisted consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General, and consultant to Air Force Biomedical Science Corps for Dietetics. In this role she managed 55 nutrition departments world-wide.
Bionca became a CDM, CFPP in 1996 and has served in various state and national positions. She has served on ANFP’s Political Action Committee, Professional Development Committee, Leadership Development Committee, Culinary Task Force, Program Planning Committee and more. At state level she has served as education chair, secretary, treasurer, news-letter editor, President-elect and now Alabama President. Bionca also holds a certification in Program Management and Master Gardening.
Bionca still focuses on helping others with their businesses in the role of consulting (Nutrition Care Professionals, LLC.), gardening (volunteer-ACMGA & Harvest for Health), domestic violence and getting people out of their own way. She develops leaders, speaks at conferences, mentor’s women, assesses organizations, builds teams and motivates. She is married, a mother to three and grandmother to three girls with another on the way.
