If your job responsibilities include clinical nutritional care, this course is for you! You will learn how to read the daily language of medicine in medical records and on care plans. You will build a working vocabulary of terms related to body systems, medical conditions, tests, treatments, and surgeries. You will learn that some food and drugs do not mix and how that impacts the health and care of the client.

- Analyze medical terminology related to body systems, medical conditions, diagnostics, and treatment
- Translate abbreviations used in medicine and apply principles for documentation in the medical chart
