Resident rights are mainstream in the long-term care community. This course reviews the recommendations of the Dining Practice Standards from the Pioneer Network, along with recent trends and data that support residents' rights. These recommendations help the Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM®, CFPP®) identify dining requirements, understand the importance of food selection, and gain knowledge of the most recent regulations from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
