This course is designed to help chapter presidents understand their roles and responsibilities, as well as all other officer's responsibilities, including the 'How-Tos’ of succession planning, conducting efficient board meetings, and ensuring success while serving in their role.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the successful learner will be able to:

• Identify the duties and responsibilities of the president and explain them to the president-elect/incoming president
• Identify roles and responsibilities of all chapter officers and delegate responsibilities as needed
• Create and implement a leadership succession plan
• Understand how to conduct board meetings
• Understand and apply Robert’s Rules of Order/Parliamentary Procedure
