One of the most important parts of foodservice is learning to serve guests safely and effectively. This course provides the standards and common industry practices on how to serve guests safely. It also examines recent developments in technology that help to serve food more safely and effectively.
Upon completion of this course, the successful learner will be able to:
- Identify and recognize the tools used to serve food safely
- Learn the history and reason we use some of the most commonly accepted standards and practices used throughout the industry today
- Identify comparable practices in food safety that have been recently developed to increase our operational effectiveness
