Everyone in a leadership is facing a myriad of challenges daily. The key to not getting bogged down in the daily minutia is to move forward by creating a clear vision of where you want to take the organization. This involves planning, but most importantly, it means that you as the director must realize your value and the value of your team and have the ability to articulate that value to others and finding ways to rekindle the passion for your work.
Staffing shortages and daily stresses in the long term care environment have caused a significant amount of burnout within the profession. Demand is high just as burnout, turnover and rising labor costs are diminishing the supply of qualified staff. This session will discuss strategies to help navigate the chaos while rediscovering what you really love about your work. It will explore how certain communication strategies can be most effective in helping your team overcome their work challenges so that they are more present, productive, and engaged in making the workplace more meaningful on a daily basis.
- Understand how to promote yourself and your team effectively, resulting in a thriving work environment.
- Apply strategies to improve communications between the foodservice and all other departments within the facility.
- Develop leadership skills required to influence strategies throughout the organization.
All webinars are non-refundable. CE credit will be given upon successful completion of all required areas of the webinar including the quiz and evaluation form.
