Bio: Amy Reaman is the Director of Development for Training and Support Programs at Health Technologies, Inc. In her dietetic career, Amy has focused in foodservice management including areas of cost control, staff development, safety, sanitation, and compliance. With Health Technologies, Ms. Reaman provides Culture Change consulting for dining services in healthcare paired with customer service training, employee development, and menu design. Ms. Reaman holds Bachelor degrees in Dietetics and Nutrition, and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Dayton, and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Pennsylvania State University.

Bio: Suzanne Quiring is a Registered Dietitian both in Canada and USA. She is a member of Dietitians of Canada, Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), and Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC). She is a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional with ANFP and a member of CSNM along with her 2 year Continuing Care Administrator’s diploma, and she volunteers as the BC rep for Dietitians of Canada, Gerontology Nutrition network. Suzanne has more than 23 years of experience in the Health Care Community food industry as a Director of Food Services, Dietitian, and consultant. Suzanne has personally worked in all areas of Residential Care from Assisted living, skilled nursing care, palliative care, dementia care, brain injury, extended care, and acute care. She has an appreciation as to the practical and real challenges of providing great meal service to residents, regardless of care level.

Bio: Thomas has been the Director of Food and Nutrition at Eskenazi Health for 14 years. Tom has been a CDM since 1998 and has been and continues to be active in ANFP. Tom has served as Indiana ANFP President in 2006 and is currently on the CBDM and the LDC for ANFP. Tom is in his 40th year in Foodservice Management and was the recipient of the 2017 CDM Spotlight Award and the 2015 Innovation Award. Tom received his BS in Restaurant Management from the Ohio State University. His precertification from the University of Florida.

Bio: Barbara Thomsen, CDM, CFPP, RAC, is a certified dietary manager, resident assessment coordinator with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She has worked in facilities, government, is a current adjunct instructor, and has held many national board positions. She has conducted numerous long-term care educational sessions across the country and currently is an Independent Health Care Consultant/Educator working with ANFP as the Education & Regulatory Outreach Consultant.
