In December 2020, the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans were released to the public. These guidelines are considered “Best Practice” guidelines and incorporate all ages. This session will explore the overarching guidelines along with practical recommendations and resources for implementation into your practice setting.
Upon completion of this course, the successful learner will be able to:
- Summarize the four overarching guidelines and key recommendations in the Dietary Guidelines
- Develop a plan to incorporate these “Best Practice” Dietary Guidelines in the practice setting
- Identify Resources to assist in education and implementation
