In today’s litigious society, it is important that practitioners correctly utilize the CDM, CFPP Code of Ethics for guidance and reference. This session provides a review of the difference between laws and ethics, a review of the CDM, CFPP Code of Ethics, and several scenario-based situations.

Speaker: Martha Rardin, MSM, RD, CD, FAND serves Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana as the Director, Nutrition & Dietetics and is currently serving the Association of Healthcare Foodservice as the President. Martha is an experienced dietitian. In her 41-year career she has encountered many ethical and legal situations that give pause and require careful consideration.
