CDM, CFPPs are experts at managing dietary operations. Earning the CDM, CFPP credential required meeting education and work experience requirements to take and pass the CDM Credentialing Exam. Meeting the recertification requirements demonstrates commitment to ongoing competence. In this video, you will learn about the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) policy for credential holders who were selected for the CE Audit in 2020 and were granted an extension to meet the recertification and Continuing Education (CE) Audit requirements.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the successful learner will be able to:

  • Explain the types of eligible CE activities, required documentation, and number of CE hours required to meet CDM, CFPP recertification and CE Audit requirements
  • Describe the actions required to successfully pass the CE Audit when granted an extension
  • Explain how to report CE programs and upload electronically the required documentation via the My Certification page of your ANFP record during the CE Audit extension
